Recovered well after conceding an early goal to van Persie. Made several important saves, including a fierce header from Ramsey near the end to keep the score at 3-2.
Steven Caulker 8
Continues to impress with each game for the Swans. Powerful, pacy and strong in the air.
Neil Taylor 7
Exposed at times, particularly for Walcott’s goal, but overall did well under pressure up against van Persie.
Some errors in judgement which allowed the Arsenal forwards to exploit the space behind the defence, but generally solid.
Great link-up play with Dyer and worked hard to nullify the Arsenal attacking threat on the flank.
Coolly taken penalty to bring the Swans level after van Persie’s opener, but struggled to create many clear-cut chances from open play and sloppy in possession.
Another outstanding display. The midfielder is the engine of the team, keeping everything ticking over with minimal fuss.
Kemy Agustien 7
Did well before being replaced through injury at half-time.
A sensational performance from a player currently at the top of his game and deservedly being touted for a call-up to the England squad. Terrified the Arsenal back line and took his goal brilliantly.
Joe Allen 8
The Welshman is improving with each game. Fantastic movement and a natural ability to find the perfect pass. Worked hard to track back and help out defensively too.
Terrific work rate despite limited opportunities in the first half. His efforts were rewarded in the second when he scored the winner with a superb finish in the 70th minute.
Gylfi Sigurdsson 8
Making his home debut as a 2nd half replacement for Augustien, the Iceland international impressed.
A replacement for Dyer after 81 minutes.
Replaced Graham on 93 minutes.
Brendan Rodgers 9
His belief in his squad and his philosophy gives the team the confidence to impose their style of play regardless of the opposition. Inspirational.
