Wolves v Swansea City Player Ratings

Michel Vorm 7

Pulled off a couple of fine saves in both halves and looked unlikely to concede, but was powerless to prevent a late Wolves comeback.

Garry Monk 6

Looked comfortable for most of the game dealing with Ebanks-Blake but guilty of some kamikaze defending in the final ten minutes of the game.

Ashley Williams 6

Not as dominant in the air as usual and went to ground too quickly in last-ditch tackles at times.

Neil Taylor 7

Impressive going forward, neat link up play with Gower and Sinclair.

Angel Rangel 7

Strong defensively, but equally impressive offering an attacking outlet. Magnificent ball throught to Graham in the build up to Swansea’s second goal.

Scott Sinclair 8

Caused the Wolves defence untold problems, especially in the second half. Unfortunate not to make it onto the score sheet.

Leon Britton 6

Neat and tidy play. His hard work often goes unnoticed, but he keeps the midfield ticking over.

Mark Gower 7

Divides the fans but was instrumental in Swansea’s dominance in midfield. Team lost shape and purpose when he was replaced late on.

Joe Allen 8.5

Another scintillating display. Great touch and vision and a well-taken goal in the first half.

Nathan Dyer 8

Terrorised Wolves with his pace on the wing. Always offered an attacking outlet but tracked back to help out when needed too.

Danny Graham 7

Playing with much greater confidence on the back of recent goals and was on the score sheet again.

Substitutes:

Andrea Orlandi 5

Struggled to make an impact.

Wayne Routledge 5

A late replacement for Dyer. Ineffective.

Vangelis Moras 4

Little time to make an impression.
